You’ll find us hidden away on Great Abaco Island within a string of quiet Bahamian islands called The Abacos, a short 45-minute flight from Miami and Palm Beach, Florida—yet a world away. Our 500-acre private island paradise—reserved exclusively for our homeowners and members—offers gorgeous island homes, unmatched amenities, and nature-filled experiences on land and sea for every member of your family. However, as a member of one of the most distinguished clubs in the Texas Golf Association, an exclusive invitation is being extended for a one-time discovery visit to experience the club as a member. Our 18-hole championship golf course is perennially ranked the #1 course in The Bahamas. With pot bunkers and sloping greens, it’s the world’s first tropical links—a course that pros love to play while they’re not on tour including Darren Clarke, Abaco Club resident and Club Ambassador, Senior Open Champion, Open Champion, and European Ryder Cup Captain. The course is host to the Korn Ferry Tour’s Bahamas Great Abaco Classic, and is known as a favorite stop on tour among the players.
But Tour-caliber golf is just the start. Other pursuits at The Abaco Club include tennis and pickleball, watersports along a tranquil, two-mile-long beach, world-renowned saltwater flats and deep-sea fishing, and all manner of boating and island-hopping adventures.

Our members flock home to a variety of private residences—from beachfront villas at The Cays and custom-built estate homes, to picturesque cottages perked high on The Ridge. Adding to the allure of Abaco Club life is a new and exciting Master Plan that has recently been unveiled, a 10-year vision for the Club that will add more spaces and places to bring members together—a plan developed in partnership with highly acclaimed VITA Planning & Landscape Architecture, alongside the award-winning interior design firm of AvroKo.
