To The Courts
Life at The Abaco Club isn’t all about lounging in the sun and sipping colorful rum drinks. Tennis, pickleball, and padel are just three forms of active recreation that are extremely popular with Club members. The Club offers four all-weather, hard-surface tennis courts—the same surface used at the U.S. Open—along with four padel courts and three all-weather, hard-surface pickleball courts with lights so the fun doesn’t have to end at sundown. Regular club competitions, instructional clinics, and private lessons are also offered for players of all levels.
The pickleball courts are located in their own private enclave amongst the palms next to the basketball court, within walking distance of cottages and club amenities. Tennis and padel are centered at The Stables, a reimagined historic structure along the Amenity Corridor that serves as the hub for racquet sports. Adjacent to the courts, the Racquet Pro Shop offers equipment, apparel, and programming.
Beyond the courts, The Stables open into a broader recreational landscape, including a three-acre park, multi-use field, and a 50,000-square-foot pond with a fishing dock. With shaded seating, on-site amenities, and the Horseshoe Bar providing a breezy place to gather, The Stables bring a new level of energy and connection to fitness at The Abaco Club.
