We challenge you to find anywhere else in the world better suited for water and beach play than right here. The Abaco Club’s sheltered location on peaceful Winding Bay, and an average annual water temperature of 79°F, creates the ideal water sports playground. Many members begin their day with “touch the rock,” an easygoing morning stroll on powdery soft sands from one end of the beach to the other. For more exhilarating pursuits, the club offers many—from snorkeling, kayaking, standup paddle-boarding, and kite-surfing to flying over the water on an e-foil. Members especially love traversing the calm, glassy waters by kayak or paddleboard to Sugar Cay, which is home to a population of friendly sea turtles. Whatever the activity, the club’s staff will set you up with all the right gear, and also provide expert instruction for any age or skill level.

Tennis and pickleball is just two forms of active recreation that are extremely popular with Club members. The courts are located in their own, private enclave amongst the palms next to our basketball court, within walking distance of all the homes, cottages, and other amenities.
Fishing
The waters surrounding The Abaco Club are teeming with world-class opportunities for fishing enthusiasts. Trophy bonefish, permit, and tarpon fishing is a serious sport in these parts, and a particular favorite with members and visitors who take to the mangrove flats.

The Abaco Club spa is a place where you can relax, rejuvenate, and revitalize body and soul. It’s a place where you can choose from a wide range of therapeutic treatments. The Club’s Fitness Center features fitness equipment designed to help you make the most of your workouts.
